Speaker 1: Today we're gonna be taking a look at the best trailer hitch options for a 2008 Infinity G35. Here we're gonna have two hitches available. Here we have your Draw-Tite, part number 24831, and here we're gonna have the Curt, part number 11499.Our Curt is gonna have a reinforced collar around our receiving tube, and our safety chain loops are gonna be just a little bit smaller, whereas your Draw-Tite, your safety chain loops are a little bit larger, however, it's not gonna have the reinforced collar. So when it comes to trimming, you can see that the Draw-Tite has a reinforced plate, which means you're gonna have to make your cut just a little bit wider, whereas your Curt can be a little bit smaller. Both these hitches are gonna have a half-inch hitch pin hole, however, your Curt is gonna give you a half-inch more clearance on the back of your vehicle, and the Curt will also give you a quarter-inch more ground clearance.Both these hitches are gonna be class ones. They're gonna be good for cargo carriers, bike racks, and light-duty towing. more

Here's what our hitch is going to look like once installed. Really clean look. You don't see a whole lot of it hanging down here from underneath the vehicle or anything like that. This is a class one, so we've got an inch and a quarter by inch and a quarter opening. It hugs right up against the bottom side of the vehicle here as you can see. more

Today on this 2007 Infiniti G35, we're going to install part number 24813 from Draw-Tite. This is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on the vehicle. Next, we'll give you some measurements that will help you out in selecting some accessories, such as a bicycle rack or a cargo carrier. From the top of the receiver opening down to the ground will be about 11 1/4" and from the center of the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper will be about 2 1/2". Now we'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. First thing we're going to need to do is go ahead and make a mark below the license plate. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2005 Infiniti G35 - Curt- Video

Today on our 2005 Infinite G35 we'll be installing the Curt hitch, part number C11482. From the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the bumper is 4 3/4 inches. From the inside of the top of the receiver 2 opening to the ground is 10 3/4 inches. This will assist your selecting accessories such as a bike rack or cargo carrier. Now let's go ahead with installation. Our first step would be opening up the rear trunk. Then we'll go ahead and remove the inner liners and spare tire. Now with the spare tire removed we gain access to the 2 grommets in the front of the wheel well of the spare tire. more
